Frequently asked questions

  • What is a sustainable product for Planet Warriors?
We at Planet Warriors expect that products sold at our markets are sustainable. That is to say that, in their making, nothing is used that could be depleting the finite resources of our planet and/or harming the life that exists on it. We request biodegradable, compostable packaging, organic sources, reusable and recycled materials, as well as favouring previously loved goods and up-cycling. Single-use plastic [ see How to reduce the impacts of single-use plastic products (unep.org) ] is forbidden at our markets and we ask that stallholders minimise their waste and dispose of it appropriately by recycling, composting, etc. Production must have a fair and ethical supply chain, and products and raw materials produced in the UK where possible to avoid excessive carbon footprint. Whenever coming from abroad, we will need clarification as to whether ethical standards and fair trade principles have been observed.
  • Do you charge an entry fee?
No. There is no cost for visitors at Planet Warriors events. At every market, we partner with a local sustainability-focused charity/initiative and we encourage visitors to donate to the charity instead.
  • Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is. That said, we encourage visitors to take lower carbon footprint alternatives such as biking or walking!
